EDUC 6165-2

This blog will take on a new dimension as I investigate and share what happens in a variety of child development areas in the field. My understanding of child development, as well as yours, will expand and deepen as personal experiences are compared to what is discovered through understanding diversity and identity. Newly acquired knowledge with information about child development from learning about this issue will add so much to “flavor” my own prior knowledge, as do new spices in food. This journey this should be exciting!

Meaningful Quotes!

"My hope is that no matter the age of the children you work with, you take time to encourage a positive perspective on all of the possibilities each day brings, accidental or otherwise."

  1. Hi Sheila Lee! Our kids just LOVE Starfall! I think it is a great resource for helping aid children in their learning endeavors. I work in child care and we have difficulties supporting the teachers on our sites with getting children to the levels they need to be at. With this type of program they can work independently at times to gain better reading skills. Great resource!

And I LOVE your quote at the bottom. I actually try to live that way in all my relationships. It truly makes a difference.

    Take care,
    Cortnee :)

  2. Until I read your blog, I had never heard of Starfall. I clicked on your link and was looking around when my 6 year old came in to ask me a question. I don't know what the original question was but an hour later, she finally let me get back on the computer, lol. Looks like Starfall is a new favorite in my house! Thank you for sharing this information.
